Mr. Krishna is a Founding Director of TOOOPLE Technologies Pte. Ltd, (a virtual projects company) based out of Singapore. Immediately before this, he was Senior Director and managed Oracle Academy and Oracle Education Foundation (OEF) programs in education across Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to this, he was a Director at Oracle University and Sun Microsystems and managed education business in the APAC region including India. He conceptualized and built Oracle’s “Workforce Development Program” for professionals and students from higher education. Oracle rolled out this program globally.
He is the founding member of the Executive Council of IIIT-Hyderabad and served in this capacity from 1998 to 2001 (In 2001 he moved to join Oracle Singapore).
He is also a former member of UNESCO Regional Expert group on Transforming Education and Training Systems to Create Lifelong Learning Societies in the Asia-Pacific.
An avid believer and strong proponent of 21st Century Skills, in 2010, he presented a paper on “Use of technology to build 21st century skills in formal education” during Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), (USA) Learning International Networks Consortium (LINC) Conference.
